How will the servers be divided up?

What I mean is, will there be US and EU servers? And Oceanic etc.?

I don't recall how this was done i SWG...but was there any divide?

Basically, anyone got a link or some info that they can share?

No info on this as of yet. However, there will likely be an EST server, along with a PST one, and a few central ones. Maybe two or 3 Europe servers.

Heh. I'm fairly sure there won't be an official oceanic server, as SoE enjoys screwing those in the eastern hemisphere, but Ausguard.com has organized a group migration to a certain server. Once the server list is published, the final decision will be made and we'll claim said server as our own.

How is this handled in SWG? I played it years back and remember some servers like Bria and Chimera. Were there EU and US there?

Some games don't even tell you where a certain server is located. You can only guess by ping times.

Yea I recall it said "recommended" after particular servernames back then, in SWG.

There were three servers that were actually hosted in Europe for SWG. The rest were seperated between US West and US East. And the euro servers got royally screwed pretty much all the time. On the other hand, there were much bigger populations on the three euro servers then on the yank servers.
