These items both drop in the same zone, from same level mob and are both heroic. The claws are pretty easy to get can spawn this named a few times a day if you push hard. The mob that drops the sword is a monster to spawn. You have to farm inside the palace for days to get enough to spawn him and its just harder all around. So shouldnt this sword have more dps? not to mention that have the same dps and one is 1h and other is 2h.

Also like to ask is it possible you got the drop rate on tehse claws and drum backwards? Seems funny these claws drop like hot cakes but a yellow drum is nearly impossible to get.

We've actually had a better drop rate on the drum.

Think we have seen 9 claws and 2 drums. Dont think 70dps claws should be so common being heroic and all.

Martial Swords are, for all intents and purposes, 1-handed swords when it comes to damage. They're basically an all-in-one longsword + parrying dagger and are spec'd that way in general.
