Not what im saying. There is a quest that makes untapped Xeunu shards drop. Everytime a mob dies they drop one. Than you turn in 10 of them and the reward is a xennu energy Shard. Every one in the group can loot one each kill. But the quest can only be done once. Im hopeing this is a bug and it should be repetable.

I don't think its a bug, but a lack of proper testing and poor design on the area considering how many shards you need. That starting quest is nothing more then the back story for how to find the Xennu Energy Shards. Only problem is there obviously far rarer then the untapped variety that the quest calls for 10 of to make one single energy shard that in turn needs 10 of those to make 1 purple sphere. If they made that quest repeatable and it guaranteed dropped the untapped version. Thats 10 untapped to make 1 Xennu Energy Shard, then 10 of those to make 1 purple sphere. You would still need to roughly kill 3000+ mobs to get the needed spheres combined to complete the quest there given the number of schematics you can find. With as heavily camped as the Xennu mobs are on my server it would take several weeks to get all the spheres together.

10untaped=1 Xennu energy shard, 10 xennu energy shard = 1 purple sphere. 3 purple spheres will complete every quest but one. So thats 300 mobs. Duno where you comeing up with 3k. Anyway 300 mobs are not to bad seeing you are getting invis, levi or eb on any class perma from a quest. And as far as the mobs. Island of madness, the entire shoreline and the HUGE island north of them two i forget the named have to have over 300-400 xenn to kill. If that quest was changed to repeatable i could do any of these quests in 3-5 hours. As it is now im looking at about 15-20 hours per a quest.

15-20 hours is retardedly long. Maybe it if was hella fun or challenging but a drop rate ? eh..

Did you ever find out why haven went live partially finished? when can we expect itemization? and what happens for those of us that did the quests already? :(

The 3k mobs was for doing the majority of the quest as I pointed out, not for doing one single quest. Right now I have schematics for boots, helm, belt, cloak, shield, ring, bracer, weapon, and I imagine theres a few more lurking out there. The minimum is 3 purples per including the boss dropped colored gems from Islands of Madness. Some of these ie belt/shield take 5, figure all of them up at minumum you need 28 Purples. Every single item is something worth doing especialy for the classes that dont have the utility that these items offer. Anyways figure it up 30 mobs per xennu energy shard on average needing 28 purples thats 8400 mobs I was being liberal before not counting all the schematics *).
