that is what makes or breaks a game my friends..
or at least a HUGE part of the game.
I want to run through Khal and see lots of people during prime time-late night hanging out, chatting, buy-selling, LFG

The game is new..Yes, but I hope this picks up becuase its pretty empty out there. And see *points above* none of that.
Everything else will come in time........

Florendyl is very populated. That's why we host events (check the news section of silky venom, or the playing the game section of the Vanguard Roleplayers website, or the Florendyl section here). Each one of our events is held in a major/minor city area, to draw people there. Eventually we are planning on actually populating New Targoner and running all of our open market events and such there in order to draw the population into what is, IMO, the coolest city in Telon atm. Some of our guildies have some REALLY good ideas on how to draw people in.

One of the reasons we use Shout, Regionsay, and Auction for our community events is because we support the community. Using private channels to do community events is stupid, because it locks out the community and makes things private. As such, even if some people accuse us of spamming the channels, we do our events in the Open Public channels that Sigil provided for us in order to foster community and keep everyone involved.

It is what we make of it. On the low pop. server it takes a bit of effort but worth it.

The "community" is not server specific. It also includes the class forums, this forum, and all the other resources around "Vanguard", including server specific events, in game channels, even *sigh* /shout.

Vanguard Crafters, VG Tact, etc, all make up portions of the community as a whole. Personally, compared to other MMO's, I think it's doing rather well so far.

Orccor you play with some of my RL friends on Gulgrethor =) Nendain, Sycloness, Nueder those are some crazy ass mother hardcore fools. I've been contemplating re-rolling just to go back there and play with them again =(
