But considering how silly a martial staff looks, I'm pretty sure he really meant a bladestaff due to name and icon having it. /nod /nod (Please don't forget to change graphics aswell, lightbulb-sticks belong to casters! ;p)

- Quest – The Purification of Graystone - The quest to exchange the one-handed mace for the two-handed maul will also allow players to exchange the mace for any of the other melee weapons.

Well, uh, it's still a staff, with a new icon (looks like a focus item, so could suppose it's a staff icon); but sttill maintaining the same name.
Also lacks a visual model, but this looks to be a shared trait with all rewards currently.

Yeah, all Martial Staves got the stick looking icon. Graystone Bladestaff of Purification still uses Martial Staff as the skill, and even got a Martial Staff icon.

Longsword reward from this quest line wasn't displaying a graphic today (since the recent patch). Anyone else confirm?

Someone mentioned something about the longsword being a tank weapon.

They obviously aren't a tank or they would know that tanking without a 2hander is rather silly on anything but hard hitting 6 dots.

Not because the extra mitigation isnt useful, it very much is, but for the fact that holding aggro with a 1hander as the game currently stands is just ridiculous.

Atleast for DKs.

Could take a look on the Bow? The stat of it just doesn't on par with all the rest of the items, actually it's way weaker.

The longsword is excellent for those who like such weapons. If you want a 2H weapon, why not pick the 2H axe or the (new) 2H maul?

Bumping, and in case, I mean even with the +2/+2/+2 modifiers, it's still too ugly number-wise, compared to the rest of the rewards.

Torktoo is not saying he likes 2h's but i too play a DRK and using a 1h weap is plain silly even with spells to try and hold real agro on a mob.
