So, how is this little event -supposed- to work? The few times my group did it tonight, it seemed, well....fubared. If then event is supposed to have the Captain summon many, many, many adds, and if you're required to have some sort of mass mez, then maybe it is working as intended. If the fight is supposed to be comprised of the Captain and 2, maybe even 3 guards, then what my group experienced was VERY bugged.
Also, what is up with the "summoned" adds re-aggroing on you after you die? Even if you do not come close to the tent? Also, why does FD work, yet not really work (stuck in combat)? |

Once you figure the fight out its not that hard, I'll give you a hint though. Don't ballz out dps him down, control the initial fight then as you handle the adds bring him down in stages you will then find out you wont get mobed by
8+ adds. Also the agro problem if you die, only way to fix this is 1 have everyone chunk to another zone at the same time, or 2 relog to clear the agro that seems to be shared zone wide. |

I really don't think the event is meant to pan out in such a manner. It's horrendously annoying though, I tried evac'ing but I too got stuck in combat and when I even got near to the area they reaggro'ed. Some really weird repathing issues are going on in there.

That encounter changed quite a bit from beta. Hard to believe it's working as intended. We got smoked repeatedly there this weekend witha full, very solid group. We were taking the capt. down in stages with most of the group focusing on the adds, and suddenly we had four more warp on top of us at once while the captain's health had barely dropped from the last spawns. Too weird.

We were the first people to mess with it after the change, does he still spawn like 10 adds? Do they still keep agro on you even after chunking/relogging and bumrush you when you come within 100 feet of the tent should you evac or die?
We were lucky when we triggered it we had 2 psi in the group and it was a complete joke -- ae stun and burn the captain. About the only feasible strat besides kiting him somewhere that gives you longer to kill before the adds get to you.

So far I've seen this only completed by a single group where they have a 22+ psi (aoe mez). The rest of us (w/o psi) do this 2 or 3 groups at a time. One group burns the captain and loots the other group handles add. Rinse, repeat and switch roles.

The encounter is very easy as mentioned above with a psionist.
Just get a 22 Psi to AE Mez and kill the captain, loot the item and port out. Can repeat it for all your guildies every 15mins as its a fast respawn. |

Actually a lot of CIS encounters are significantly easier with an aoe mezzing Psi -- I'm not sure if it was intended but is appropriate given all the time lore.
