Well, no one else has a 240 -- So here is mine in its glorious stockness.
Yeah, I cant live without 3 pedals so i had it converted to a real trany so i could pick my own gears. Go is always better than show... So i gave it a stave 1 street clutch from ACT, and the VLSD out of an infinity J-30.  Latter plans are a different intake cam i found in an altima to get me to 248/240 with the cams. Oh yeah and new tires for this season of autox.

I live in Alaska myself, so this is and always has been a little more my style;
She's a 93 Eddie Baur Sierra special edition, on eight inches of Skyjacker suspension lift, running a positrac FRONT end which I don't even THINK about engaging while on dry roads; All electric (everything works) 38's for now with no flares ( fender cuts ) Fully outfitted to be an off-roader by the previous owner with too many things to even mention, she's what we call a pavement princess now as I wouldn't take her down a road that would scratch her for all the tea in china... I use her on the weekends to play around the hot spots in town and flirt the girls who are into trucks and bodybuilders.. The speakers are Alpine forwards and mids with a 300X4 Alpine deck pushing them, pumped with an Alpine v500 adjusted for clarity. The subs are twin Eclipse Titanium cones ( 12" 1000RMS ) with matched memphis 1500watters pushing them ( yup, that's one per speaker at 1.8ohm ) The box takes up almost teh entire area behind the rear seat but looks SWEET when the tailgate is dropped. The bass hits so hard I can make it change your heart rthym and cause difficulty breathing. .if..you're..*cough* into that sort of thing * looks at teh blank stares all around* Right..anyway, so.. I wanted this truck my entire life, took me years to find her. Not only does everyone near me in traffic listen to whatever I'm listening to, but for a party rig at a gravel pit or the like? ( we do that allot up here ) Everyone in my hometown recognizes and knows me, and now I have a truck to match, no other rigs like it or even close in Anchorage so I am pleased as punch !  oh, an a better pic of my friend on the hood <=)  |
