Things we learned from updat 1
1.Brad truly is an average game developer at best; EQ was just a matter of the right place at the right time.
2.Most of the staff at Sigil are not qualified and/or capable to perform their jobs, or have just stopped caring at this point. Jesus Christ guys did anyone test this patch before it went live? You roll out an art patch and somehow mange to leave out the art!
It's becoming painfully obvious why Microsoft bailed on this project, and they are the Kings of releasing unfinished software to the masses. Just a guess but Sony most likely has a rider in the contract that you signed with them, granting them control of the game upon Sigils failure to meet certain obligations either monetary or developmental.
Spare us all the pain and lets just fast forward to the end. You know the part where Sony cuts Brad a check for the rights to Vanguard based on some future projections of Sony Stations passes sold. The doors to Sigils offices are quietly and unceremoniously closed, and Sony begins to patch the game EQ2 style to retain what ever is left of the player base.
