You've got to be kidding me... I spend half an hour getting a group together, then get dumped outside the dungeon at the second port?!! I wasn't able to rejoin the group. On top of that, this was my second attempt to put together a Riftseeker's group. The first group ended just as we were about to enter the dungeon, due to the patch this evening.
I'm pretty patient about bugs, but the 'port bug is a real "game breaker". Apparently, it's a known bug, and I have a feeling it's been around since early beta. |

I think I've discovered what's going on here. If you are targeted by a mob while trying to enter the portal, you get booted outside. Now, there is a quick spawn on some of the portals. It's possible a monster can spawn just as you attempt to enter the portal. You might not even know a mob has you in its sights, but the game does.
I think the devs would be wise to remove the mob spawns from the portals. While they're at, they might take a look at Open Source Cave (think that's the name). It's tedious to gather up all those keys, esp. if you have a full group that needs the quest. You can only loot one key per person, and you need six. Nothing breaks up a group faster than attempting to camp those jailers. |
