So Hugo Chavez wants to nationalize a bunch of industries without giving the owners of the industries anything in return. Fine.

-The take the industries
-The victims sue Venezuela in the US
-US courts award victims ownership of Citgo

Is that what he wants?

He might be good at getting people stirred up in a frenzy, but he's going to run his country into ruin, and then blame the US.

I'll never buy anything at a Citgo till Chavez doesn't own any of it.

The best Hugo soundbite was after a Spain-based news agency published an article about Castro's health. The article referenced nothing from the Cuban government, other than the fact that they wanted nothing to get out, and that it was a private government matter.

Chavez then came out and said that Castro was fine, and promptly blamed the United States for trying to spread anarchy into Cuba.

Idiot may not be the right term.

Politically he is brilliant. He fooled an entire country into beleiving that he alone should control near half the industry and more than half the wealth of the country.

He has already nationalized the most important industry.

The oil industry is nationalized meaning he controls the money.
All but 2 TV stations are nationalized. One of those loses their license early this year meaning controls the media.

And somewhere near 40%(estimate) of the country are employed by his governement....meaning he controls the people.

The man has it all covered. Again I don't think Idiot is the right word.

However....Fu#* Chavez , Citgo will never get my bussiness. Screw a man who spews the BS he does about my country.
